Demonstrations in Tel Aviv Crowded Israelis Asking for Re-Elections. Hundreds of people demonstrated in Tel Aviv to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the war between Israel and Hamas. In their action the demonstrators demanded an agreement to free the Sandras and the resignation of Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, while shouting chants for the release of the Sandras and carrying banners depicting some of the more than 100 Sandras still held captive in Gaza.

The demonstrators demanded new elections and criticized the Netanyahu government’s handling of the war against Hamas.

It is known that the Israeli Hamas war was triggered by an unprecedented attack on October 7, 2023, on Southern Israel. In which the militants killed about 12 people. Mostly civilians and they also kidnapped about 250 Israeli Sandras. Demonstrators said the militants were still holding around 100 Sandras and more than 30 bodies.

Meanwhile, the war launched by Israel in Gaza has killed more than 34,000 Palestinians. According to local health officials about 2/3 of them are children and women. This war has also destroyed the two largest cities in Gaza. And leaving behind the destruction of about 80% of the region’s population. Gaza residents have fled to other parts of the besieged enclave. Especially the Rafah area.
