Iranian President Visits Pakistan to Improve Military, Security and Economic Relations

Iranian President Visits Pakistan to Improve Military, Security and Economic Relations. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi visited Pakistan on Monday 22 April 2024. This visit was carried out amidst tensions between Iran and Israel. It is planned that Raisi will be in Pakistan for 3 days to discuss regional and bilateral relations.

This time Iran’s visit was seen by a number of parties as asking for Pakistan’s support. This is because Tehran is already involved in a dangerous conflict with Israel. On the other hand, Raisi met with a number of Pakistani leaders and Prime Minister Arif. He claimed that Iran and Pakistan were fed up with Israel’s attitude.

Both countries are said to be fed up with Israel’s genocide in Gaza and Western domination in the international arena. Raisi conveyed this at a press conference in Islamabad Monday, April 22 2024. Previously, these two countries were indeed trying to improve economic relations.

According to Raisi, it is necessary for both countries to continue taking steps for border security and the welfare of Iran and Pakistan. In this regard, Iran and Pakistan agreed to increase trade investment between the two parties by 10 billion dollars as a first step.
