Israel Plans to Restrict the Entry of Palestinians to the Al – Aqsa Mosque During Ramadan. Hamas militants have criticized Israel’s plans to limit the entry of Palestinians to the Al-Aqsa mosque during the month of Ramadan. According to Hamas, this action is a continuation of Zionist crimes in Palestine. In a statement issued on Monday 19 February, Hamas invited all Palestinians to oppose these restrictions. Including millions of Palestinians living in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque itself is a holy site in Jerusalem used by Palestinian Muslims to worship. However, on the other hand, Israel also allows Jewish citizens to worship at Al-Aqsa. In fact, the holy complex is always closely guarded by the Israeli Police, who often commit acts of violence.

Apart from restricting Al-Aqsa, Israel also plans to attack the city of Rafah in South Gaza during Ramadan. The attack will be carried out if Hamas does not immediately release the Israeli hostages.
