The Moment Gibran Was Strangled By His Neck By Residents While Visiting Muara Baru After His Appointment As Vice President

The moment Gibran was strangled by his neck by residents while visiting Muara Baru after his appointment as Vice President. Gibran Rakabumi Raka immediately finished his visit and was appointed as the vice president-elect of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period by the General Election Commission or KPU of the Republic of Indonesia on Wednesday 24 April 2024 afternoon. Gibran chose to go on a blusukan to visit residents in the Muara Baru Flats in Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

When he arrived there, the residents seemed very enthusiastic in welcoming Gibran. Even in the middle of a crowd, residents were caught at the moment when a man bravely broke through and forced his arm around Gibran and even grabbed Gibran’s neck.

The man wearing a blue jacket with a picture of Gibran and a white cap also passed the guard of the aide and paspampres who accompanied Gibran. Gibran looked shocked, but then smiled even though he received surprising treatment from the residents.

Even so, the aide and paspampres immediately caught the man and took him away from Gibran. Even though there were moments like that, Gibran expressed his gratitude for the support to realize the free lunch program he promised during the campaign.

He was also grateful for the extraordinary welcome and enthusiasm from the residents of Muara Baru. Gibran also ensured that the free lunch program he launched with President-elect Prabowo Subianto would be realized over time.
