Turkeys Kizilay Or Türkiye’s Red Crescent sends its biggest aid to Gaza

Turkeys Kizilay Or Türkiye’s Red Crescent sends its biggest aid to Gaza. The aid was sent by ship via Egypt. Quoted from Reuters, the aid contained food, medicine and equipment.

The ship carrying the aid departed for Egypt’s Al-Aris port, on Thursday 7 March 2024. Judging from the tweet shared by the X account of The Seta Foundation At Washington DC, it was stated that the aid contained 110,000 food packages. There was also 620 tons of flour, enough water to fill 14 trucks and a mobile kitchen. Which can serve 5,000 meals per day.

It was stated that the ship would make two trips to Egypt to deliver aid. Later the aid will be transported by around 200 trucks to the Rafah border. Once the ship returns to Turkeys Kizilay or Turkey the Red Crescent will refill it with aid, most of which comes from donations. The next departure is expected to be March 26, 2024.
